How do I join the Michigan Society for Healthcare Planning and Marketing?
To
join the Society, you need to fill out a membership application and submit a check for $45. If you are a part-time or full-time student, the membership rate is only $25 for part-time and $10 for full-time student! To qualify for the student membership, you must be a full-time student and submit a photocopy of your current student identification card or a current class schedule along with this application. The membership form can be found under Join Today.  

What are the membership benefits?
There
are many benefits to joining the Michigan Society for Healthcare Planning and Marketing, including discounts on educational programs, online membership directory, and job postings. You will also have the opportunity to network with other planning and marketing professionals, participate in informal educational meetings, and mentor college students interested in careers in healthcare administration.

How can I get involved with MSHPM?
The Executive Committee is always looking for volunteers to serve on various committees and help out at the conferences. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Frank Veltri (Frank.veltri@stjohn.org).

When is the next MSHPM conference?
The next MSHPM conference will be May 16, 2008 at the Hotel Baronette in Novi.

How do I get a user name and password for the Members Only section?
In order to get a user name and password for the Members Only section, you must first join the Michigan Society for Healthcare Planning and Marketing. Once you submit your membership application and fee, a membership letter will be mailed to you. The letter will contain pertinent information about your membership as well as a login name and password.  For more information about becoming a member of MSHPM, please contact Karol Clason (KCLASON@beaumonthospitals.com).
