The MSHPM State Conference, scheduled for Fall 2021, has been postponed to 2022.
After conferring with local health officials, hospital and healthcare facilities/administrators and Lansing Community College we have made the hard decision to cancel the Michigan Society for Healthcare Planning and Marketing State Conference scheduled for Thursday October 21.
We have come to the tough conclusion as a result of the rising cases of Covid and concern for everyone’s safety and well-being. While we were prepared to enforce social distancing and mask wearing, we opted to take the path of care and concern of our guests, presenters and staff at Lansing Community College.
It is our full intention to have a safe and fantastic conference in the Spring of 2022, and we would welcome you back. Our Program Committee is already brains-storming on how to make the 2022 conference the best yet, and we hope it will include you!!! We will be in touch with you later this fall to share the new dates with you and update on how you can participate with us-safely-again.

The Culture Map: Decoding How People Think, Lead and Get Things Done Across Cultures By Erin Meyer (2014) As our world becomes more connected with advances in digital communication, adopted even faster due to Covid-19 and the rapid acceptance of working virtually, relating well to team members and collaborating effectively with people across the globe […]
In Shock By Dr. Rana Awdish I had the priviledge of hearing Dr. Awdish speak at a conference in the summer of 2019. The story she told on stage was so compelling and touching. Her desire to make empathy and communication just as important in the exam room as tests and diagnosis was intriguing. I […]
The Power of Habit Why we do What we do in Life and Business By Charles Duhigg This book uses actual people and cases to talk about the science and formation of our habits, how we can change them and how they impact our lives. This was not a self-help book or mind-altering transformation read. […]
